Proud friend

One of my favourite people in this world has been ambitious and really hard working to get to the point where he is right now, his band got a record deal with one of the major record companies; Frontiers Records. And I have to say I completely love their album. My favourite song makes me really happy and it reminds me of some of my childhood bands such as Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Europe and Ozzy Osbourne mashed into one band. And these are all bands we used to listen to together, and dream about our future music carreers. Listen and enjoy!

Josh Groban's christmas album Noël is what spins around in my head in a nice and cozy manner. Found deliscious gingerbread cookies dipped in orange flavoured dark chocolate, and what else fits better to that than a cup of sweet and spicy chai tea? Enjoying and longing...

Will we do more than just connect?

This song has rooted itself so deep into my mind, it has so much soul in it. Can't stop singing it on the bus when nobody can hear, or when walking through the city. A real feel good tune, and how it inspires me! I have a project growing in my mind, plus thoughts of joining a gospel choir - because of this song!

Latin-mix

Latin music, how can one not love to dance to it? Salsa, rumba, bachata, cumbia, reggaeton etc.! To my joy, my local gym offers sessions in latin mix dance and it is incredible! Happiness, butt-shaking and sweat.

Pleasnt day after

Danish people really have an... interesting taste of music at parties, well, at least the people in this city. Never have I heard boybands so frequently since the late 90's. Danish really love their Westlife karaoke moments on the dance floor, which is something I will have to try to learn to love, although it will be hard, possibly impossible. One danish group I really love, that I wish would be played more is Electric Lady Lab. Here is a remix of one of their best songs (listen carefully to the background melody at one point).

The local beer brewery organized a student party with famous danish artists, and a crazy motivated student crowd. At first when entering the area before the stages were visible I thought to myself "what the hell is this?!", there were high school kids falling on the street, and smelling like beer breath (they looked so tiny). But as we peeked around the corner of the brewery there were hundreds of people (in my age), in an insanely awesome mood, electronic music flowing through the GIANT speakers and beer stands everywhere. It couldn't be a bad evening, and it wasn't! We danced like there is no tomorrow.

My Vespa Dream

One of my big dreams in life, is to own a Vespa, preferrably mustard yellow with a caramel colored leather seat. But while browsing through Vespa pictures online, I realized that they are all beautiful. Just look at this one. Now I have never been into the color red, but I have to admit that it looks pretty darn perfect in this color! Gimme Gimme Gimme...

The Script

Someone once told me that I shouldn't listen to The Script, foolish as I was, I didn't follow that person's advice. Now I'm hooked, as all of their lyrics just pierce through my heart (with the risk of sounding like an emo). It's one of the few moments when I enjoy being sad, which is kind of freaky in a way, why enjoy being sad? Aren't we all lovers of pain.

Beautiful city

Sound of seagulls, ocean wind messing up your hair and an amazing view; this is my city. I'm so in love with this place, and my relationship status is now: taken (blown away).

THIS WILL BE MY LAST, FIRST POST

First post, how pressuring. The topic must come naturally, so I will start off with something I have been thinking about a lot lately.

Goodness, I am right now obsessing with finding a song that my father's friend made a cover on; it's called "I Love Onions" and it's freakin' wonderful. I heard this cover once in my teen years, and it has been a song that won't escape my brain. They recorded it to cassette in the 60's, and right now, it's somewhere in a moving box in a dark space. I don't even want to post the orignial song, because for me, there is only one version.

On rainy days I always get inspiration and it is exactly a day like that now! I have been planning out a song that I want to record, but there is one problem... I am without recording program. I used to have Cubase. But I would want something more simple than that, where recording and mixing is a quick and simple task. I am not so patient with these things, and I don't like too perfect sound, especially not with acoustic guitar. My inspiration today comes from genres like dancehall, african beats, reggae and balkan. I like these combinations a lot, makes me wanna dance at any time.
